i recently just left creditsafe and like many others i do agree that the management style and office is totally disgraceful. Also agreeing with this post that their style of selling is out of hand!! I do not agree with the ‘hard sell’ appoarch nor the ‘win or lose them’ attitude. Its totally full of bullies there and people who beleive they are a ‘big swinging dick’ laughable really.

However the company offers far better information than RiskDisk. Yes it may now be owned by experian, but thats because it went bust. Their re-sellers of Experian there for using out of date data, would you buy yesterdays news paper? no. They also use alot of slander, telling prospects that creditsafes office is on top of a chip shop when its european wide company. Creditsafe a main source provider so there is no way it could use out of date data, i have a list of companies that risk disk claim to be credit worthy though the company has gone bust. Its not part of Experian, its just owned by them.

As Danielle says (and I really do not want to get into a slanging match with he boys from Cardiff) we (Riskdisk) are now owned by Experian, You don’t get much bigger than that! Our Directors took a long hard look at whether it was the best thing for their employees AND customers before selling the company and decided it was. Emotional time for all. I use Creditsafe and have just renewed for £160 with them doubling the various add ons they offer to monitor customers, competitors etc. Their credit rating system is crap but if you just use it for monitoring and easy access to the compamies accounts and director info etc. then it is good value.

Having signed up to CreditsafeUK last December, have only used the service a couple of times.
Little bells started when no answer to the phone for almost 3 mins then the girl said she picked up on the 2nd ring. Also a little worried by the fact the help page was down, the contact was page was down, the marketing page not connecting correctly.
Dept I needed was on lunch at 12:40 but would receive a call back when returned. Still waiting.
Thanks for all your comments, have sent an email as T&C’s ask to their “No Continuous Service”

Looks like a recorded delivery might be needed before long!

do you even know were creditsafe get there information from at all, 3rd hand pppfffttt, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about,

Hi, I also work at Riskdisk who is now part of the experian group and they are the largest in the UK and world wide, I deal with Creditsafe customers everyday all day. I truly feel for anyone who has bought Creditsafe are being miss sold a product that is so out of date its not worth a penny! However not all credit refering suppliers are the same, some are very good!My best advise is if you pay penuts there is a reson why!!!! We advice so many people what they are like and some just dont listen, then 3 months later they call us back and say they have been auto-renewed and have a bill for £1200.00 which is now there starting price and they just give you a massive discount to get on board! then weeks in to your contract you realise you have bought a load of rubbish which you are then stuck with!!!! my advice stay the hell away!

I think your missing the point Daaave! Its not about making money or where you live or what you “learned” from working with an obviously dubious company. There are so many complaints about them you just cant deny it. You might have had a good experience working for them and learned a lot (maybe you learned how NOT to do things to though after working there, huh?) but many others have not. And I didnt write this article for employees or ex-employees, I wrote it for consumers who need to be warned about bad practices from my experience. OK you were a good guy working there, from what I hear you are in the minority dude!

Sorry but what a load of COD.

I use to work in Creditsafe and although there was music playing and a high tempo workrate, what i leart from that job has got me where i am today.

Companies like Creditsafe should be praised for giving young adults (straight out of education) a chance in the current climate, NOT slated when none of the rest of you do anything to help.

And as for “sales techniques” yes there where a few that would use the pushing method instead of showing how good the product really is i.e. weak staff – But they didn’t stay long.

3 years on i really appreciate the experience i had working for this company and that SOME companies out there invest in the “non educated” people out there. They spent time in progressing me into a proff sales person and think this is very unfair.

I now live in london and probabily earn more than all of you put together.

So thank you Creditsafe.

What Frank mentioned above I can agree. I am passing several times a day their german office and always loud techno music is playing and sometimes you hear people shouting “motivational” phrases like: “If you make this one right there will be MOOOONEEEEY”. Also the people working there are quite mixed types (guess the fluctuation is quite high) and it seems that you dont need a high qualification to work there.

Don’t know anything about they product though.
