Well I guess you live and learn Frank, but thanks for coming back and sharing you experiences. It confirms what I already knew and hopefully other people read this and it saves them money, time and stress!!

Well I hope you find a better job for a better company.

I never paid Creditsafe and they gave up asking for payment....the funny thing is they still phone me now and again and try and sell em their services!!! Haha dicks!

I took tour advise and after some weeks i quit. i think my boss was doing blow, its loud hardcore techno music in the background and you need to stand the whole day.

i lost some potential clients coz my team leader was pushing me to sell as cheap as possible and bullshitted me about the terms and conditions of our own contract, not one of the stories they tell u on the phone are true and if u don't sell they treat u like shit, i guess in the UK it must be even worse

per contract i think i cant give more information about the company, signed a agreement to not speak about it after leaving, but well u get the picture

Well Frank I think the reason they have so many customers is their pushy sales tactics. Its certainly not the quality of information in their database. You even confirm their sales tactics! Perhaps once you have worked their for longer than 2 weeks you will find out about the bullying tactics to get disgruntled customers to pay up.

OK so every big company will get a fair amount of complaints but thats because most big companies are all the same, they invest heavily in sales and sacrifice customer service, ethics, quality, basically every other aspect of the business. You are employed by a sales machine obsessed with one thing.....money. They dont give a shit about their service or their customers which is a shame and more and more people will realise this and they will end up with a hugely bad reputation (if they dont already). Saying that I guess they can always rely on new suckers being born but the more people write articles like this, the less chance they have.

Power to the people!

ps why dont you investigate your companies practises, the claims, the complaints, the court cases and maybe how many people work in sales and how many people work in every other department. I would imagine sales and debt collection are huge departments and things like database improvement are tiny.

Hi i work for creditsafe germany since 2 weeks, now i started checking the internet for some reviews coz i am not satisfied with the "push to sell" attitude of CS. anyway i received a week of training about product and company and we do hold over 55000 customers so we cant be that bad can we? in the UK we r actually leading i think with 31 %, i have to say that we change in Germany our procedures coz the english import sales team want to tell us to sell our product for like 300 but actually its worth way more like 2000, but no
german director buys for 2000 after one phone call... telesales does not work on the german market, we people are in generall suspicious what i want to say is that I try to be more like a long term sales executive who tries to establish some sort of connection and for any UK customer if u dont agree with the terms & conditions tell them!!!!!

the database well i cant speak about the UK but most of the time the big players of the industry anyway buy from the same sources in germany there are 6 big players and all of them have same sources they just package it differently

after all i think its a great company with a great product there is no other company in germany which offers a flatrate for creditreports, but the "telesales push the customer attitude" sucks, it makes out product look very cheap

Bad news always travels faster than good.
After a google search, I've seen three companies (including your own) complain about Credit safe, out of their self proclaimed 35,000 customers.

Not bad going really

Are you protesting to much? I detailed the web address of the offending Creditsafe in the post alongwith their logos.

Not much chance anybody will confuse you if they read the article properly.

However I have an update on this post:

UPDATE: Please if you do not want to pay Creditsafe and believe you were forced into agreeing to their terms and conditions (i.e. they asked you to login to the account whilst on the phone). DO NOT PAY THEM.

They will keep sending you red print letters saying they will take you to court but they wont, they will then send you an invoice for a lower amount, until its so low you may feel like paying it (£140). DONT! The arseholes will do nothing. Just ignore them and let them waste their money on sending you letters.

They are just bullies and I hope they get shut down for bad practise.
